Drawing

I recently started a drawing class at the California College of the Arts (yay!). Here are 10 things I've learned so far:

  1. Charcoal gets everywhere.
  2. Be honest and admit when you don't know something.
  3. It's fun being on a college campus again.
  4. Drawing makes me feel young.
  5. Never center.
  6. Go off the page.
  7. Don't give it all away.
  8. Be patient. Especially with yourself.
  9. Don't worry about what other people are drawing.
  10. Charcoal. Charcoal everywhere.
